Wave Lore - my personal idea for a singleplayer game!

 WAVES


waves are hordes of mobs that spawn and they want to destroy the builds of player, stop player from collecting energy, destroy energy harvesters and kill player.

there are 4 different types of waves

1)Drain wave: which focus on destroying energy harvesters

2)Ruin wave: which focus on destroying builds

3)Slay wave: which focus on killing other mobs, dwarfs and player

4)Crush wave: which focus on destroying barriers or protections


so the lore is player will be wandering and building stuff. he needs to make energy source for his builds so to power his machines and other stuff. to make energy source he needs special materials, he needs help from dwarfs to keep it running. for a dwarf to run it, demands for a house, food, and gold. the energy is then converted to oryx, which can be exchanged in store of dwarfs. dwarfs can be attacked and killed. so to protect player's build, there are something called stones of protection. it will not let specific wave to not enter. it needs to be built in a structure to activate it. it requires 3 stones, each will be found in structures all over the world. there will be health for them too which can be destroyed by crush wave.so the stones are:

1)PowerStone: for drain wave

2)ShieldStone: for ruin wave

3)GuardStone: for slay wave


To defeat the game, player has to face each wave, there is will be a wave evoker for each whom if the player manages to kill, will drop a

1)Drain_Crystal

2)Shield_Crystal

3)Guard_Crystal

4)Wreck_Crystal


player has to place them in a structure to register game as won.


Why is energy needed?

-> to power machines

-> to trade with dwarfs

-> to activate stones of protection

-> to hire dwarfs

-> to summon waves

1)Drain wave:

Siphonix--leader of drain wave

Mobs:

1.leech: a mob that goes to energy source and sucks energy

2.PulseFangs: a mob that destroys energy source

3.SkyDrainers: a mob that flys and destroys source

4.BlockBreakers: a mob which breaks path for mobs to enter

5.SparkSlay: a mob that kills dwarf operating the source


2)Ruin wave:

Ruinor--leader of Ruin wave

Mobs:

1.Wreckers: a mob that removes blocks one by one

2.goblins: a mob that adds useless blocks in build, destroying the structure

3.bomber:bombs place from top

4.holedriller: drills random holes inside the ground

5.Explodo: explodes if player attacks it


3)Slay wave:

KillFang--leader of slay wave

Mobs: 

all normal mobs that attack player


4)Crush wave:

Velyx--leader of crush wave

Mobs:

mobs that attack only stones of protection

->havocring: spawns mobs directly to stones of protection


Dwarfs:
they are passive mobs, they can be hired, they do different jobs.

Aleyx: a technical mob, which connects to player, guides it throughout the game.it also has a a button in player inventory where it opens its gui. it has option of hiring dwarfs, shop etc. 

Operan: a operating mob that helps in operating energy sources, he can manage only 4 at a time.
